Fidelity Select Electronics 1995:

This fund was the best trending Select for much of 1995. The fund hit a sell stop in September. It did not turn strong again until near the end of the year. When it did turn strong again it was cheaper than it was when it turned weak. If one had used strong and weak as buy and sell signals one would have bought back more shares than were sold with the same money. When this fund did turn strong again there were much better trending Selects to choose from where one could have done better while this fund was recovering. This fund was not the top rated Select fund again until September of 1996.
