Old Timer
Born 66 years ago on top of a mountain in the hill country of Texas during a severe rainstorm. Lived my first year in a one room cabin with a dirt floor.

Family finances didn't allow me a college education so most of my knowledge comes from a sincere desire to learn. I'm quiet and reserved when meeting new people, reluctant to open up to just anybody until I know them better.

Married 47 years next month to a beautiful lady. We have two successful children that have strong moral and ethical standards that they are passing on to our three grandchildren.
My hobbies have always been reading, or watching TV about mostly historical facts. I seldom ever read any fiction. Enjoy working with my hands, woodworking, gardening, repairing just about anything that breaks except plumbing - hate that with a passion.

My first love, which became a career spanning over 50 years was and always will be the automobile. I learned to drive at age 7, built my first custom car at age 16, and have owned over 70 cars in my lifetime. Now retired I have built and maintain a website dedicated to the cars of our past.
