I am 53, the granddaughter of one of Texas' yellow roses. She has now grown beyond the gates, but the blooms she left with her grandchildren, would make her proud.  All the women in my family are strong women but their heart is ever turned towards caring for thier families.  I have been married for the past 11 years to Brian, and have helped him deal with a critical illness.  We are the movie, planes, trains and automobiles...:)  

We have tried to continue to enjoy our hobbies. I am qualified to operate as pilot in command in case of emergencies. We ride our motorcyle now that the weather is nice.  I work in our automobile repair service in order to give him a break and so he could travel to the doctors that can treat his illness.  

My favorite pastime is my garden, I make all my own natural medicines, and we can and prepare our own juices.  I love the outdoors and spend a lot of time in my yard.   I have 5 grandchildren, I love the times we spend together.  
 
I have been a Christian for over 26 years.  Jesus is my rock and the wind beneath my wings...I  have traveled to the middle east 4 times.  I founded a Ecumenical ministry that is still going strong and helping hundreds of families.   
 
My view of life, is that no matter what happens it has to pass through God's hands before it get's to me,,,and that if I look at every person as tho they were Jesus Himself, then I will never meet a stranger....so that is who I be...for now...:)
